M. J. LEWIS

Owner/President

He has over 50 years experience in the construction industry, construction materials, oil industry, land development, land surveying and design. With Duncan being his primary place of business he has been involved in many projects throughout the community as well as across the state. While in the construction business Mutt began developing commercial and residential property leading him to eventually established the Professional Land Surveying Department as it is today. During this time he has served on the Duncan Industrial Authority, Duncan Area Economic Development, Oklahoma Lumberman’s Association, the State of Oklahoma Housing Authority, and is a member of Duncan Chamber of Commerce.

Buddy joined M. J. Lewis & Associates, Inc. in August 1977. He oversees all of the surveying, drafting, real estate and land development departments. Buddy takes great pride in thoroughly researching projects before giving clients recommendations, bids and/or cost estimates. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in collaborating successfully with multiple professions on projects. Buddy serves on the Advisory Committee for the City of Duncan and is a member of Duncan Chamber of Commerce and the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors.

JANA WALDEN

Office Manager

Jana has been a part of the M. J. Lewis & Associates, Inc. team since April 1996. A valuable team member who manages all customer relations, accounting, payroll, and insurance. She handles preparation of all work orders until final billing.

JULIE WALKER

A.A.S. – Design Drafting

Julie started working for M. J. Lewis & Associates, Inc. in February 1997. She supervises and is involved in all levels of the drafting department. Julie prepares most sub-division, improvement and construction plans for clients and various consulting professionals. Working closely with the survey department, Julie takes their data to prepare the necessary plans to successfully complete her projects. She also collaborates with different professions on large projects and sees them through from start to finish.

BILLIE POWERS

Drafting Project Coordinator

Beginning in September 1997 with M. J. Lewis & Associates, Inc., Billie is involved in a multitude of drawings. She manages the distribution of work orders as she receives them upon completion from the field crews. Billie is experienced in elevation certificates, preparing legal descriptions, easements and right-of-ways; as well as completing forms that are required by government branches to complete her projects.

JUD BERRY

Senior Crew Chief/Project Coordinator

 A.A.S. Civil Technology

Jud joined M. J. Lewis & Associates, Inc. in May 1994. He supervises the survey department with duties that include: scheduling projects, data research, managing 3 survey crews, and communicating with clients. Jud is experienced in all type of surveys from boundary, topographic, oil well locations, to construction staking.

RYAN WALDEN

M. J. Lewis & Associates, Inc. welcomed Ryan in May 1999. Ryan is knowledgeable in all areas of surveying including boundary, topographic and construction staking.

DANNY SEYMOUR

Crew Chief

Beginning in September 2001 at M. J. Lewis & Associates, Inc., Danny is well versed in all types of surveys. He is well adapted in elevation certificate surveys construction staking.

CHRIS TALLEY

Chris joined the M. J. Lewis & Associates, Inc. team in September 2001. He has hands on experience in the field with all types of surveys including expertise in pipeline location and mapping.

KYE GARRETT

Kye began work with M. J. Lewis & Associates, Inc. in April 2007. He works as a field technician and is also knowledgeable in AutoCad.
